Age of Aquarius
I've been working on my craft; summoning my artist self I started painting my own textiles. Pillows seemed like a righteous way to introduce this expression, provide some one of a kind prints. So...here they are!
They will be available for purchase in the online shop soon. I will also be producing more for a super exciting event I'll be participating in. If you'd like to inquire about getting your hands on one that's specially made for you or your BFF, Mama, Sister, Father, Cousin, Uncle or Brother e-mail me: firstname.lastname@example.org
In the past few years Portland has grown as a source for plus sized babes looking for independently designed fashion that actually rocks. Copper Union is especially great because that is the focus of their line. Claire Doody is the talented lady behind the label. Last year we showed together at both Alley 33 and Portland Fashion Week, and I was immediately drawn to her; she has that look in her eyes that says "I'm so much fun, you have no idea!" Until you chat with her and then you start to get an idea. Her designs are fun and...
We're a mere week and a half away from our incredible pop-up shop where you can shop the goods of some of Portland's most talented brands and like all locally made goods, there are kick-ass people behind the scenes creating. What makes this line-up so wonderful? Let's find out more from Laurs Kemp and Machine Apparel.
Laurs Kemp is a fairly new designer who's work I first saw materializing in Portland about a year ago at Haunt and Animal Traffic. She's steadily made a prominent mark on Portland's fashion face and has recently solidified it by...
We're just short of three weeks away from a super killer pop-up shop at Tillamook Station where 12 superb brands will be selling their goods for a mere 4 hours.
Hovden Formal Farmwear and This is Folklore are two of the super talented designers/creators that will be there.
Hovden is a clothing company that focuses on highly functional...
Portland has an abundance of quite talented designers, artists and shops. Coalesce is a pop-up shop that will bring a small, varietal and well balanced curation for Portland shoppers to peruse some locally made goods and connect with their makers . A gang of 12 skilled and eager to make their mark brands will be convening at a fairly new venue in the heart of North Portland's industrial district. Near North Coast Studios, Tillamook Station is a cozy and modern space that I've seen transform as a host of art shows to premier parties to other pop-ups as well.
